Making Faces at Bernina Club!
What a wonderful time we had this weekend with Carol Straus and her program on creating faces for fabric dolls. Whether you use a photo of an existing doll's face or one that you take of a child, you too can create amazing one-of-a-kind faces for fabric dolls! Carol has such a wealth of knowledge in all things related to sewing and fiber arts. Her generosity provided three lucky winners with original works of art in the dolls she presented for the nametag drawing.
Congratulations to Nancy Sasnett, Karin Mede and Trish Sadler.
OUCH!
Many of you know our customer Pat Thomas and her wonderful talent to sew just about anything! However, here is something that you may want to avoid sewing.... It seems Pat got a little carried away a couple of weeks ago and sewed through her index finger. Yikes! Even I know how painful that is as I, too, have had a run in with a needle through my thumb.
Never fear, Pat is recovering nicely and continues to create wonderful garments!
