Floor model machine sell!
We sell our floor model BERNINA machines
before they are hardly dusty! The machine sold yesterday had a total of
18 hours of sewing/embroidery time. It's a great way to save $ and
every machine has a brand new/full warranty. Just a few floor models
left. Come take a test drive!

We are keeping the store closed today. Our parking lot will clear as the day goes by, but the sidewalks will be thick with ice. Enjoy your Saturday! I will be cheering for this great guy, Frank Tanner, and the team tonight!
Are you cooking comfort food today?
Keep your cookbook open with this neat idea from a customer!
Cut out two 11 inch by 2.5 inch strips of fabric...or join ribbons to create a similar size. Sew them to create a tube. Fill with rice and stitch each end closed. It's a "handy" project when you could use an extra hand!!

Flavored Water Recipe
I have had several requests for our water recipe served at Bernina Club this month. And since it is looking like the perfect day for such a treat here it is: to 1/2 gallon of water add the juice of 1/2 lemon, 10 mint leaves and 6 slices of cucumber. Let sit for 2 hours and enjoy!

I like corny!
Spend your snow day crafting a valentine's garland for your kitchen window or a friend's!
Gather felt, fabrics, ribbon, 505 temporary spray, decor bond interfacing and fray check.
Trace
largest heart shape onto the decor bond. Fuse these to the back of your
felt. Cut out big hearts on the line you traced. Cut out smaller heart
shapes. Use your temporary spray on the back of these and place onto
your felt pieces. Zigzag around smaller heart. Cut little slits on each
side of the heart and weave ribbon through. I put a little fray check
on the slits.
Hang and smile!

Simple tissue holder!
Tissue holders are fast and useful! This one is made from 2 fabrics cut 7 x 7 inches. One of the fabrics is fused on the wrong side with décor bond. The second piece is the lining.
Monograms make little things a little more special!
The sewing is easy! Put your fabrics right sides together. Use a 1/4inch seam allowance and stitch 2 opposite sides closed. Turn. Now fold so that the lining shows and the finished edges meet in the center to form the opening of your tissue holder. Stitch the 2 remaining raw edges. Finish these 2 edges with a zigzag or overlock stitch for a clean finish! Turn and fill with tissue. Done!

Remove the bottom portion of the pocket...leave the upper portion of the pocket sewn to the jeans. Cut up the part you removed like the picture shows.
