150 Scarves
Have you noticed scarves being brought to our store? Our friend Callie volunteers for the Assistance League of the Triangle Area. They help clothe over 800 school children! Callie collects scarves that our customers knit/crochet. If you would like to be a part...it's simple. Using worsted weight yarn knit or crochet a scarf that measures 5 inches wide and 40 inches long (including fringe). No eyelash or fancy yarns should be used. Questions? Email our friend at textiledust@aol.com. 150, that's how many more scarves are needed.

Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. Sounds great. I am not a knitter.... or crocheter... but, I wish you well.
I remember last year that your store did something end-of-year with knitted hats for newborns (if I remember correctly). How did that work out?
