Yum!


Our kitchens are busy this morning preparing homemade treats for you! I definitely free motion better than I drizzle : ) We invite you to join us for gift giving ideas, show and tell, refreshments and a little gift just for you! No registration is required....come tonight at 7, Friday at 10 or Saturday at 10.  Enjoy the season with friends who like to sew and quilt like you!

Here is the recipe for these Irish Chocolate Bars!

Stir together 2 c flour, 2 cups brown sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp ground coffee, 2 T cocoa, 1 tsp salt.

In separate bowl mix 2 eggs, 2 sticks melted butter and 1 tsp vanilla.

Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.

Spread batter into a well greased 13x9 pan. 
Top with sliced almonds.

Bake 350 degrees for 28 minutes.  Cool completely.

Drizzle with a mix of 2 T butter, 1/2 c powdered sugar and 2 T milk.
